In October of this year (2021) I announced the launch of my small business related to photography and digital design, To The Moon Media. Officially making the creative passions I’ve always valued so deeply, into services that I can share with others. I have been practicing photography independently since I was gifted my first big girl camera, a Nikon D50, at age 14. Not much captivated my attention in terms of subject matter in my small town surroundings, but growing up in the middle of midwest nowhere my friends and I spent a lot of our youth trekking around the woods with our dogs. I think this is when my obsession with photographing pets was born.

There’s something about seeing a dogs one of a kind personality and the special bond they have with their owner come to life through my photos that has me hooked! This seems like such a specific niche of photography, but when I stumbled into the world of Dog Instagram a found a whole network of people that valued outdoor/pet related photography just like me. I have no shame in the fact that I put more effort into my dog’s instagram aesthetic than my own and I say in confidence because I know there are so many others out there that would say the same. As To The Moon Media reaches the one month birthday marker, I’m ecstatic about the response I’ve gotten thus from everyone. Photography is just the start, I can’t wait to share with everyone the expansions I’ll be making soon!
